After graduating from Adelaide and Flinders Universities, Merilyn worked as a clinical psychologist before travelling overseas and living in the UK for two years. Since then the family lived in northern California for several years.
She is actively involved in church life and is regularly invited to speak at women’s functions. She is also committed to local schools ministry and focussed prayer initiatives of various kinds.
In addition to her long-standing column in the Christian Woman magazine, Merilyn’s writing has appeared in several books from the award-winning Australian Stories series by Strand Publishing.
